What Did You Get Me?
As we enter the Christmas season, we look towards the hope of the world: Jesus.
We Are What We Do
In week 1 of Cheat Code, Lead Pastor Aeric Wallace walks us through the cheat code for our faith life: prayer.
Noise - Week 6
Death is constantly around us, but it’s not the end. Our faith helps us fill in the gaps about the truth concerning life and death.
Noise - Week 5
Even though God has gifted us things in life to enjoy (including friends, family, and the fruits of our labor), the Bible gives guidelines on how to use alcohol, tobacco, sex, food, and more, and these boundaries are essential to enjoyment without addition. The moment we abuse our boundaries and responsibilities is the moment we lose the ability to enjoy them.
Noise - Week 4
We all carry incredible burdens, but God is willing to trade his burden for ours. In this way, the Lord is willing to take on our anxieties, stop our fear, and strengthen our minds.
Noise - Week 3
Stress follows us wherever we go, but we have been given the tools and abilities to turn our stress over to the Lord.
Noise - Week 2
Lead Pastor Aeric Wallace takes us through the highs and lows of life — from unending joy to devastating trauma — where we learn that the cold, hard truth can sometimes hurt.
Noise - Week 1
In Week 1 of Noise, Lead Pastor Aeric Wallace reminds us that there is such a thing as “good grief.”
We Are The Heathens - Week 6
David is a hero-turned heathen who adopted an “I got this” mindset.
We Are The Heathens - Week 5
Despite his history, status, and title, Zacchaeus chose the path toward the Lord: Repentance.
We Are The Heathens - Week 4
John the Baptist is an outcast, but he’s also the baptizer of the Messiah.
We Are The Heathens - Week 3
Before he was Paul the Preacher, Paul the Pastor, or Paul the Prisoner for Christ, he was Saul the Heathen.
We Are The Heathens - Week 2
Rahab was a prostitue from the wrong side of the wall. But God used her to move his people toward redemption.
We Are The Heathens - Week 1
Samson was a degenerate who disobeyed the Lord. However, God still used him in big ways.
Day 14 - Launch Sunday
We believe here at Dwell, God is asking where His presence dwells with His people in Omaha. We have heard so many reasons why a church cannot work in Downtown Omaha, It's too expensive, the people aren't open, the world is too different, too many people with different cultural backgrounds. But isn't that all the exact reasons why a church MUST exist? I believe it is.
Day 13 - Worship
“Our worship experiences will consist of passionate, heartfelt worship where value is placed on the presence of God and welcoming the broken home. Worship should feel authentic over perfect. Worship is encompassing-if you’re in the room, you are a part of it!”
Day 12 - Work & School
Romans 15:5 tells us that we are to live in harmony with one another, like Christ. However, the first part of the verse tells us that God will grant us endurance and encouragement to do that.
Day 11 - Dwell Teams
The Bible tells us that “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few…” We take comfort in knowing that the work we do is directed by God.
Day 10 - DoWell Projects
“DoWELL” is the community outreach facet of our church. It consists of various outreach projects all over the city of Omaha. To put it simply we say, “Do well by doing good.”
Day 9 - Families & Marriages
This blessing of Family is for you and the people you love. All we have to do to receive it is reach out to God and accept it.
