Day 11 - Dwell Teams

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭36‬-‭38‬ ‭ESV

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.””‬‬

Our world is full of people yearning for hope. Life today has no shortage of hardships. This is why we thank God for his calling on the Church. We exist to love those underserved in our community. We know that this calling is bigger than any one of our members.

T.E.A.M. means Together Everyone Accomplishes More

The Bible tells us that “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few…” We take comfort in knowing that the work we do is directed by God. Our church needs to be as diverse as the community we serve. This is why we celebrate the differences between us. The world tells us to fit in and fall in line, but God calls us to stand out and celebrate our differences.

Just as a house has several parts, the body of Christ does as well. To fulfill our calling, we need to lean on the unique gifts God has placed in each of us. There’s a place for you at Dwell Church. Join us as we pray over the teams that make up our church. We pray for fresh ideas and contributors as we approach the launch of our in-person campus. We pray that the right people are called to serve. We thank God for the comradery that he is building in our teams. May our steps and ambitions be directed each and every day. May the work we do bring God glory. Amen.
