Day 5 - Dwell Kids

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)

Parenthood…one of the most challenging and rewarding jobs in the world! As parents, we often have demanding work schedules, deadlines, a home to keep, bills and budgeting, and the many other things that often keep our “to-do” list an endless one. This doesn’t even include all of the things we do each day for our children. As parents, we have the primary responsibility of building the foundation of faith for our children.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE

I’m sure you’ve heard this expression before, but maybe you find yourself without a village or not knowing the directions to even get to “the village.” …A village that will watch over, love, and pray for your children. You and your family deserve love, support, and a team cheering you on as you do life!

We all need community, including our children, and as Dwell church is preparing to launch its In-person services, I want to pray specifically over Dwell Kids. Don’t let me pray alone. “Father God, I pray that Dwell Kids becomes home to many children and families in our community. I pray that these children come to know you as their Savior and love you with their whole hearts! I pray they will find their identity and worth in you, and not in our world. I pray these amazing children of Dwell Kids will fully serve the Lord in the way that you designed them. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen!”
