Day 1 - Dwell Church
Welcome to the 2023 time of prayer and fasting. My hope is that you are coming into this full of anticipation for what God will do. Pastor Natalie said this last Sunday that if we are to expect God to do big things in our lives, then we must make big sacrifices. This time of fasting is meant to align our hearts to the sacrifice that God made for us in His son Jesus. Jesus' death and resurrection must not be done in vain. He has asked us to carry on the same work He began on Earth. This message is never more apparent than Jesus’ prayer to His father in John chapter 17:
John 17:20-22 (NLT)
“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one.
Jesus wishes is that the church that exists today is united in purpose, passion and position. Our purpose is to Love God. Our passion is to Love People. Our position is to Live Free. So today would you pray with me as we start our time of prayer and fasting thanking God for Dwell Church. A place that everyone from all walks of life can come together under the single pursuit of Jesus’ purpose, passions and position.
